Bridget Bernadette Karn is an artist who has worked across a huge range of mediums, but over the last few years has gained worldwide recognition for her work making pictures out of felt, turning her passion into a full time business, selling her work and teaching her techniques. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in 2016, won the York Women Mean Business 'Made' Award and was a finalist for Best Visual Artist at the York Culture Awards in 2017. In this episode we discuss how despite our best laid plans life always seems to throw us in alternative directions, the incredible dynamics of natural light in landscapes and how they impact our moods and experiences, and about the upcoming Open Studios this weekend and next.
