Funding opportunity: Jerwood Arts Winter Fund
Jerwood Foundation supports excellence and emerging talent in the arts in the UK and welcomes funding applications from organisations with a focus on making art available for public benefit.
The Winter Fund is open for applications throughout September for projects starting between January and October 2025.
Applications close Friday 4th October.

York Book Fair & Illustrators Meet-up
York Book Fair returns to the Racecourse in September with a huge range of books available to buy as well as specialist stalls from bookbinders and restorers. On Saturday, Illustrator group Drawvik will also be holding a meet up in the ground floor bar from midday.
Friday 13th & Saturday 14th September. £2 entry on the door - cash only.

Free Development Opportunity: Rebel Business School
Rebel Business School is a training programme designed to support entrepreneurs and creatives to monetise their skills and start their own successful business. The two week course includes a series of online webinars and interactive sessions covering everything you need to know about setting up your business.

Ongoing peer-to-peer feedback and support from art world professionals. Bookings for the new season are open now and include sessions for painters, and those with a particular interest in social change and climate activism.

The Digital Culture Awards 2024: Your Questions Answered
The Digital Culture Awards 2025 will open for entries from Wednesday 11th September and this online webinar, led by the Digital Culture Network, is for those working within the creative and cultural sector who are interested in submitting their work.
A panel of experts will be on hand to answer any questions around eligibility, categories, how to enter, and anything else you might be interested in hearing more about.
