The Craft Potters Association always curates a strong line up and this year is no exception with 69 exhibitors confirmed, from all over the UK.
The event is selected and run by and for the makers, and our aim is to provide an unpretentious and affordable platform that nonetheless showcases only the finest makers working in clay today. No commission is taken on sales, and this is a chance to buy directly from the maker and support the sector.
Acting Workshops: For Curious Actors
Tuesdays: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th March 19:15 - 21:45 (2.5h)

Come for your weekly acting practise; a gymnasium for the actor.
Like all skills, regular practise keeps you progressing, confident, excited and engaged.
There will be redirection, discussion and exploration to see how far we can take a scene. Acting each week with a scene partner and using the same text each session, you will be given the opportunity to perform, hone your skills, and explore areas that you wish to improve.

Mark and Sarah from The Light Room are moving to a bigger location, leaving a 3 person studio available in York city centre with 24/7/365 access, a short rolling contract and no business rates.

The Festival prides itself on having a diverse range of events including talks, lectures, panels, debates, performances, storytelling pieces and workshops. It features both fiction (literary, contemporary and genre-based), non-fiction and poetry while focusing on a number of themes including history, current affairs and a small programme of events for children.
