Creative Opportunities: October 2023
Your monthly round up of news, events, opportunities, call-outs and funding
Hi friends,
Last month we saw York’s creative media sector come together for REIGNITE, an event celebrating and showcasing some of the incredible work being done in the city of York, a UNESCO City of Media Arts.
Following the event there were lots of questions about how we find out more about what is going on here locally, to which several people pointed out - you join the York Creatives mailing list!
As a reminder, if you have your own events / news / opportunities to submit, you can do so here. You can always find this link via our website too.
If you’re about on Friday afternoon, do join us for Matt’s workshop (below). This is not just for illustrators, it will give you sound advice for navigating the world of commercial artistic commissions. Use the code YORKCREATIVES for a 50% discount!
As ever - stay curious, and keep creating.
Ben & Team YC
xx
