Creative Opportunities: February 2024
Your monthly round up of news, events, opportunities, call-outs and funding
Hi friends,
We hope you had a restful January and are coming into February feeling renewed and inspired :)
We’re cranking up our events once again, and are excited to introduce Small Groups.
For those of you who have joined our Forum, you’ll see we now have sub-sections for our seven creative focus areas: Art, Design, Film TV & Games, Music, Photography, Theatre & Performing Arts, and Writing Publishing & Poetry.
Small Groups aim to help York Creatives members build closer relationships with those in their creative discipline, fostering opportunities for collaboration and friendly competition to help you develop your practice.
We’re launching with York Photographers and York Contemporary Artists (visual arts), but in time we’ll introduce Small Groups for each discipline.
Want to stay in the loop with other creatives in your discipline? Sign up to the Forum and join the conversation. (It’s free to join!)
Stay curious, keep creating.
